What is Venture Venue?
Venture Venue has been formed by Melanie Poole and Philippa Denman to help small firms develop their business in a pleasant, informal way, making new contacts and developing business relationships.
It has been designed to make the dubious task of networking a pleasure rather than a chore. In France and Italy a great deal of business is still being achieved in this way, over good food... a practice which has been lost, to a great extent in this country.
We hold lunches and dinners for club members on a regular basis at Malmesbury Manor. We keep the numbers small (a maximum of 12 invited to any one event so there is not a feeling of missed opportunity) and provide first class dining in a very relaxed and pleasant setting. Our guests come from a wide range of both commercial and professional enterprises and enjoy lively debate on a variety of subjects close to their hearts. We provide expert facilitation to enable everyone to participate.
Melanie Poole
Melanie Poole has spent 20 years in corporate business management including HR, recruitment, PR and administration. She has experience in businesses ranging from a five man start up to a 70,000 employee multinational and most recently has run her own HR consultancy.
Philippa Denman
Philippa Denman is an accomplished saleswoman and entrepreneur. She has experience in the pharmaceutical industry and education, including the creation of a cookery school. She is the author of a children's cookery book.
Through their own experiences, both understand the challenges which face growing businesses today.
